Question: What is the longest cable computer cable to buy and where can I buy it?

I do not know what it means, but talking about the Cord in the back of my laptop at one end and on the other side to the left, plug into my cable modem that I can get the Internet connection. I would like some computing on my balcony / terrace to do on nice days and I guess, would have about fifty yards from the room where my cable modem on my balcony. They make them for so long (or longer) and where they sell them? Also, how much would it cost (roughly)? Oh, and also what is the official name of this line find so I buy / you better? Is it just as a computer cable cable or is there an "official" name for it?

Answer: Depends on the type of connection you use. If it looks like a phone connection, only bigger, it is an Ethernet cable, and yes, you can buy long. If it's just flat and rectangular, it is USB.

Question: Is there a guitar string that goes straight from your amp / guitar into your computer?

As I have an electric bass. And my bro has a Amp that is connected to the computer via a USB chord. But my amp is not the function. Is there a chord i buy, can I plug in my guitar / amp to the computer so I may record it can do? Thanks

Answer: They are (4.1 ") on a TRS cable talk well, either from your bass or from the amp, as in a head-output of the amplifier. You can buy a USB preamp, so your bass / amp TRS (4.1'') plugs into the preamp, which goes to your computer via USB. Or, assuming you have a microphone input on your computer (8.1 "), you can simply buy an adapter from the TRS (4.1 Goes ") to 1 / 8" so it goes from the TRS to the plug adapter to the 1 / 8 "into the mic input of your computer.
