Question: Why are my new acoustic guitar strings as metallic sound?
I replaced the strings on my guitar and have a new metallic The resonant sound when I pick her up. It is best at the 5th and 6. It sounds like harp. I do not kow what kind I had before, because Someo else bought them for me. Other than the color coding on the end the only thing that looks different is the color of the strings were even closer to the old ones are made of a copper color and the new in a silver color. I do not know whether the old, the color is due to age or some other material. The new strings, D'Addario EXP 80/20 Bronze strings. You are EXP12 Medium String gauge size between the two look to be the same.
Answer: They would all sound different, if the barritone mark had. What is the # after the exp? Just edit your question. Well, the only other thing it could be that you have been to the sound of broken in Strings that will be used if you change the strings do an acoustic sounds very twangy kind of metallic or as you say. After you play them and let them stretch, tune it to sound better. I have an Ibanez acoustic and me if I change I have a metallic buzzing sound for a few days. I hope this helps.
